THE CURRENT ROUTE
Build a team by unit role
- 1
Use a cheap starter or reliable early damage unit for the opening waves.
- 2
Choose one main damage carry and spend most upgrades where it helps the run.
- 3
Add support and Farm income, then replace unavailable units with the same role.
OPENING ROLE
Use a starter that can cover the early waves
The opening slot needs affordable, reliable damage before the team can save for its main carry. A highly ranked late unit does not solve the run when it cannot be placed or upgraded in time. Choose an available starter that handles the early pressure and protects the economy long enough for the rest of the plan to come online.
Do not over-upgrade every early unit automatically. Spend enough to keep waves under control, then preserve resources for the carry, support, or economy step that the map allows. The exact unit name can change with ownership and updates, but the starter job remains clear.
CARRY AND SUPPORT
Concentrate the main damage plan, then improve it
Pick one main damage carry and direct the most important upgrades where they change the run. Support should help that plan rather than consume a slot without a clear effect. If the carry already clears enemies but the team lacks control, range coverage, or another utility, fill that missing role instead of adding a second copy of the same idea.
This role structure makes replacements possible. When a recommended limited or event unit is unavailable, use another owned unit that performs the same starter, carry, support, or economy job. Copying names without roles can leave a team with several strong units that do not solve the same wave problems together.
FARM TIMING
Use economy only when the map gives it room
Farm income can strengthen later upgrades, but it costs resources during the wave in front of you. Add it when the starter can hold and the map provides enough breathing room. If enemies are already escaping, stabilize damage first. No one loadout is confirmed as best for every map, so let wave pressure decide whether economy is safe.
MAP CHECK
The same roles can need different timing on another map
A short or pressured opening can require earlier damage, while a map with more breathing room can make Farm income safer. Placement coverage can also change which starter or carry performs the job reliably. Keep the role structure but adjust the order to the wave and map in front of you. ObbyList does not publish one fixed loadout because limited ownership, event availability, and map pressure can all change the useful unit names.
After a failed run, identify whether the problem was early coverage, main damage, support, or economy timing. Replace or retime that role first. Changing the whole loadout at once makes the next failure harder to understand.
