Purchase cost tells you how hard the seed is to start. Base income tells you what a normal harvest can return. Grow time tells you how quickly the crop can repeat, and the acquisition route tells you whether the seed is available at all. Looking at only rarity or income can hide a seed that is too slow, too expensive, or tied to an inactive event.

Use the crop already working in the plot as the comparison. Ask how many cycles or harvests the new seed would need to repay its cost under the current farm setup. Exact row values are left out because the checked catalogs can change, but the comparison method still helps when the live numbers are different.

Check whether the seed comes from the current shop, a pack, a roll, an event, or another route. Older guides can keep discontinued or limited crops beside permanent ones. Confirm availability before selling a working crop or saving for a purchase that the present server does not offer.

When an event route is active, compare its time limit and currency with ordinary farm progress. A limited seed may be worth collecting, but that is a different goal from finding the best steady-income crop. State the goal first so collection value and production value do not become one confused ranking.

Plant the new seed in a limited area and compare its real cycle with the crop it may replace. This protects cash and keeps the farm producing while you verify the live result.
